WATERLOOVILLE BANDSTAND What a day in Waterlooville as it came alive with the music from the Ready to Rock School.  J.A.R.H. and Crisis were amazing AND the rain stayed away!

BUSINESS/COMMUNITY MEETING

Business/community meeting held last night. Sadly only ONE business attended and 20 residents. Even with such a poor turn out some interesting topics were discussed and it was agreed that there should be another meeting in Mid July but at 7.30pm so that more people will be able to attend. The 5.30 start had been to encourage businesses, but that obviously failed! From the meeting: Subway being repaired;Jubilee park facilities under review - A meeting to be called to discuss way forward for the park. Wellington way- discussion on lack of parking etc. Comments can still be sent to HBC until beginning of June. Remember next meeting will be mid July, Date will be well publicised with plenty of advance notice. If still a  poor turn out there will be no more!

MEET SOME OF THE EVENTS TEAM

See some of the Events Team volunteers on a night out at Sorrentos in Cowplain. Can't see your face? Then why not come and help us at the events and you can join us on the next social! II's all about Building Community for OUR Town.

DON'T FORGET THIS SATURDAY

It is this Saturday so come along and enjoy the music from the Ready to Rock School  Ready to Rock

BUSINESS/COMMUNITY MEETING

BUSINESS/COMMUNITY MEETING for Waterlooville has been organised for Thursday 10 May at 5.30pm until 6.45pm in Waterlooville Library Perhaps you have a concern over: - Wellington way development - facilities in Jubilee park: Play equipment; Pavilion - Subways in town centre - ???? Got questions? Got concerns? Got moans? Then don't sit at home come to the meeting. Other areas in Havant get things done. Why not Waterlooville? Is it because nobody cares so there is no voice? Is it because there is apathy? Is it because 'nothing will change'? It won't unless Waterlooville gets itself heard and now is your chance. THURSDAY 10 MAY 5.30PM TILL 6.45PM WATERLOOVILLE LIBRARY Councillor Tim Pike Cabinet Lead for Economy and Infrastructure Projects at Havant Borough Council will attend to update everyone on the latest developments in Waterlooville. Come to this meeting and ask questions! It is your time to

Car Boot Sale - Sorry

😢   CAR BOOT SALE - We can only apologise to those who turned up today hoping the car boot sale was on. A big thank you to Caroline who pointed out that the banner advertising the car boot was still up in Waitrose car park.  As you know the Events Team is made up of volunteers and sometimes things go awry. There is a team of 3, led by Mike, who run the car boot sale. Sometimes life gets in the way and they are not available on the Sunday. We normally remove such advertising b ut obviously failed to do so this time, so we can only apologise again.  What we need are more volunteers to help to ensure this does not happen again. If you would like to assist please get in touch. If we had more willing helpers we could then have a rota so only had to be committed for perhaps one in 3, or be a reserve when a problem like today happens, It would be such a shame if this were to fold through lack of volunteers 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
